Privacy controls
Cookie Policy
Last updated: 20 September 2026This policy explains the browser storage and advertising technologies used by CookSphere and the choices available to visitors.
Necessary and first-party storage
CookSphere uses browser storage to remember acknowledgement of its privacy notice, locally saved recipes, a display name used for optional comments and a random visitor identifier. The identifier supports anonymous page statistics and prevents repeated counting of recipe likes, saves, shares, downloads and views. Session storage limits repeated page-view counting when the same page is refreshed within a short period. These functions do not require a visitor account or an advertising profile and can be cleared through browser settings.
Google advertising
Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, limit, personalise and measure advertisements, prevent fraud and report performance. Personalised advertising is used only where permitted and subject to applicable consent choices.
Learn how Google uses information from partner sites at Google's Business Data Responsibility site.
Managing choices
Where required, Google's certified consent message allows visitors to accept, reject or manage advertising purposes. Personalised advertising can also be managed through Google Ads Settings.
Deleting CookSphere storage through browser settings removes locally saved recipes, the anonymous visitor identifier and preferences and may display the site notice again.
