Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026CookSphere respects your privacy and collects only the information needed to provide recipes, community features, ebook purchases, downloads, advertising and customer support.
Information we collect
When you buy an ebook, we may collect your name, email address, product, amount, payment reference and purchase time. Payment card, bank and UPI credentials are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by CookSphere.
When you comment, CookSphere stores your chosen display name, comment, posting time and a one-way device identifier used for basic anti-spam controls. No account is required. Likes, saves, shares, downloads and recipe views use a random device identifier to prevent repeated counting.
For first-party website analytics, CookSphere records an anonymous visitor identifier, the page or feature visited, the action type and time. It does not use this dashboard tracking to store a visitor's name, email address, IP address, card details or bank credentials.
Book service projects
For publishing services, we store your name, email, project brief, messages, uploaded manuscripts, delivered files, quotes and payment references. Your private access key is stored only as a one-way hash. A necessary secure cookie keeps your project accessible on this device. Keep your access key confidential. Project files and messages are available only to someone with project access and to the authorised owner. Hosting and payment providers process information needed to deliver these services. A hashed network identifier is used for request-rate controls. Do not upload publishing-account passwords or payment-card details.
How information is used
We use purchase information to verify payment, release a protected download, prevent fraud and provide support. Contact information is used only to answer the enquiry or deliver a service you requested. Anonymous analytics help the owner understand which pages, recipes, ebooks and consulting services visitors use and improve the website.
- Operate and secure the website
- Measure anonymous page and feature activity
- Fulfil ebook purchases
- Respond to support and consulting enquiries
- Meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
Google advertising and cookies
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure advertisements based on a visitor's prior visits to CookSphere or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve personalised or non-personalised ads where permitted.
Visitors can manage or opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings. Information about how Google uses data on partner sites is available at Google's Business Data Responsibility site.
- Ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention
- Frequency control and reporting
- Personalised advertising only where consent and applicable law permit
Consent and privacy choices
CookSphere uses Google's certified consent-management process for advertising choices where required, including relevant visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland. Visitors may accept, reject or manage the available options through that message and may revisit their choices when the privacy-options control is available.
Necessary device storage supports saved recipes and basic preferences. See the Cookie Policy for more information.
Retention and sharing
Purchase records may be retained for accounting, fraud prevention and support. Anonymous activity totals and events may be retained to understand long-term site performance. Detailed owner analytics and buyer records are available only through the protected owner dashboard. Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate payments, hosting, security, communication and advertising functions, or when required by law. CookSphere does not store card, bank or UPI credentials.
Your choices
You may request access, correction or deletion of eligible personal information, including a published comment, by contacting CookSphere. Some transaction records must be retained where legally required.
