Step by step

Method

5 steps
  1. 01

Halve bananas crosswise. Mix tahini, maple syrup, sesame, cinnamon and salt.

  2. 02

Dip one rice-paper round in warm water for 5 seconds and place on a damp board.

  3. 03

Put a banana piece near the lower edge, spoon over a little tahini mixture, fold the sides inward and roll tightly.

  4. 04

Heat coconut oil in a nonstick skillet. Cook parcels seam-side down for 2 minutes, then turn until all sides are golden.

  5. 05

Rest for 1 minute before serving because the banana centre will be very hot.

Cook's notes

Make it excellent

  • Use bananas that are ripe but still firm; very soft fruit can burst through the wrapper.
